The Rice Welcome Center regrets that we are at capacity for elementary and middle school group virtual tours for the 2024 spring semester, and so are unable to accommodate any new requests. We appreciate your interest in visiting the campus, and suggest you check back in August of 2024 to request virtual tour dates for fall 2024 or spring 2025.
Elementary and middle school teachers, join the Rice University Welcome Center for an interactive virtual campus visit! Participants will learn about the importance of college and the history of Rice, enjoy picturesque views of campus life, and interact live with Rice students or staff from the comfort of their classroom.
This virtual campus visit is intended as a single or double classroom experience for the K-8th Grade audience and works best for groups of 50 students or fewer. Each program will last between 30 and 45 minutes. Participants will be able to ask questions through the Zoom chat feature or during Q&A time with the presenter. Program bookings are available Monday through Friday, with times dependent on teacher availability and Rice University schedule.
